Federal appeals court pours cold water on Maryland’s efforts to reign in prescription drug prices
A 2-to-1 ruling by the U.S. 4th Circuit Court of Appeals invalidated a Maryland law meant to limit “price-gouging” by makers of generic drugs. The appeals court held that Maryland’s law overstepped limits on how states can regulate commerce.
